  1. Hahaha Cheap shot there about Atlanta selling the farm to get into the playoffs. True, but cheap. Still gave me a good laugh though despite being a Thrashers fan.

Also, Staal's hat trick vs Atlanta also saw a Bryan Little (?) hat trick for Atlanta.

  2. Thanks for listening and thanks for the comment, Mutton. You are correct, it was a cheap shot but as you said, it's true.

Great point about Little's hat trick that game. A very rare occurrence in our sport.

Tune in often, despite being a Thrasher's fan. We will convert you.

  3. I believe in dual-fanship. I like to tell people that I feel like I have 2 home teams, due to geographic proximity to Atlanta and state-ties to Raleigh. So no conversion necessary. I do need to get some Canes swag though...

Haven't yet had a chance to listen to Episode 1-3 or Episode 2, but going off of the first two parts of Episode 1, I'd say you fellers have a pretty good thing going. Except for the audio leveling and the music not being as clear, both issues you have acknowledged. The material has been great, very in-depth and informative, and the presentation has been coherent. If I didn't know any better, I'd think you boys must have done this podcast thing before haha

  4. The audio on Episode 2 is much better.

I (Robert) have a broadcast journalism degree so I have some experience. Brooks just knows the sport of hockey.

Actually the idea from the show came from our weekly banter and discussions about hockey. We figured we could simply transition our discussions into something all could enjoy.

Thanks for your comments and keep listening.
