Olympics!!

This show is about as unique as it gets...

We recap anything and everything related to Olympic Hockey in what turned out to be the best hockey tournament this world has ever seen.

This breakdown looks at the amazing American run, a recap of the tournament and the amazing gold medal game where Canada came out on top. For the Canes we break down each of the Hurricanes in the Olympics and how they played.

We close the Olympic talk with the discussion of whether or not NHL players should be in the tournament or not.

And after this amazing spectacle, we return back to NHL play this week with 4 games for the Canes.

It's one of our best shows...

No show this week

Just a reminder to our millions and millions of fans...

We have no show this week due to the Olympics. However, I think we should because USA Hockey is the number 1 seed baby!

I guess we will just have to save our excitement for next week when we do return from our own Olympic break reviewing the Olympics, talking about how the Canes fared for their countries and a giving a preview for the Canes return to the ice.

Enjoy the games and go USA!!

Regular Season Week 20

Two trades, a new AHL team and games overseas; oh yeah, we played hockey too.

We look back at a week with all wins as the Canes have now won 9 of 11. We look at the Nic Wallin and Matt Cullen trades and the official announcements of a few news items we reported as probable items a few weeks back (see, we do know what we are talking about).

For Between the Boards we finish our Olympic preview looking at the medal favorites and finish with predictions of who will be on the medal stand come February 28th.

It's so free because it's Valentine's and we love you.

Regular Season Week 19

Whitney is still here, but Gleason will be going to Vancouver.

The Canes did split this week with 4 games all on the road with 2 wins and 2 losses. Lots of big news this weekend with rejected trades, players called up, NHL debuts and other news involving the Canes.

For Between the Boards we unveil part 1 of our 2 part Olympic preview looking at the format, the schedule and then at some teams that won't be in the medal hunt. Next week we will finish this out as we head to Vancouver!

All this and more for $102 million less than Kovalchuck turned down in Atlanta in this episode.

*EDIT ADDED AFTER FIRST POSTING*
Nic Wallin was traded to San Jose literally 15 minutes after we recorded, so the information regarding him is a little inaccurate. His trade to San Jose will be covered next week

Regular Season Week 18

We never thought winning would be so bad...

The Canes win all three games this week giving them their first winning month this season and their longest win streak with 4 straight dominating wins. We look back at the last three with wins against the evil twin teams from New York and the very scary Blackhawks.

We revisit a segment in Between the Boards from earlier this year with a little old fashioned over under and then close out a week where the Canes go out west.

All this plus so much more. It's all so much free because we don't want to claim income and have to pay taxes.

Regular Season Week 17

This week featured one of the biggest stories the Canes will have this year and possibly ever. Of course we are talking about Chad LaRose's return.

Oh yeah, we got a new Captain this week.

We recap a crazy week with 4 games, a new guy wearing a C, a guy wearing an A again, Canes looking for a new AHL team and a bid to host the NHL All-Star Game.

We also debut a new segment involving RBC Center PA Announcer Brian Hoyle.

We finished with a quick preview of the upcoming week where the Canes host the Islanders and the Blackhawks - Robert's second favorite team.

The cost to download is $11 million less than Ovechkin's annual average salary. (Free).

Regular Season Week 16

Memo to Aaron Ward - Ilya Kovalchuk is a good player.

Our show this week looks back at a three game week with games in the famous hockey towns of Toronto and Detroit and then the not so famous hockey town of Raleigh against Atlanta.

For Between the Boards we reveal our number 3 moment in franchise history looking back at the "Nickname Games." Of course we are talking about the Molson Miracle and then the Shock at the Rock.

We close out previewing a 4 game week for the Canes where we see some old foe's.
