And another delay..

So the Canes and the Aves played this week right?

Brooks was pumped about the game and went to Colorado to check it out. Turns out the game was in Raleigh. Whoops.

Kidding.

However, Brooks really is in Colorado and hasn't had a chance to see the Canes demolishing of the Senators Sunday yet. So I decided to let him watch and get all those stats and stuff that he does so the show can, like usual, rock.

So we will record on Monday this week thanks to the invention of the speaker phone feature on my cell phone.

Enjoy your Monday

Regular Season Week 14

Well Robert made it back from Memphis in one piece and Brooks is happy because now 1/2 of the...well, 3/4 of the team is back and ready to talk hockey.

We start off the show talking about one of the better performances the Canes have seen this year both individually (Staal's 5 points) and as a team as the Canes dominated the Capitals. We then go over the very boring home and home with the Rangers to close out the week.

For Between the Boards Robert and Brooks debate various topics with some good ole fashioned Point Counterpoint such as if the Canes left out of the Olympics got screwed and whether the Edmonton Oilers deserved to pay their $16,000 plus tab at a Calgary restaurant or not.

The show closes with a quick preview of the upcoming week with 3 games in 4 days.

It's all right here, completely free and only one day late.

Delay

Welcome, Caniacs, and let me be the 57th person to say "Happy 2010"! I hope your New Year has gotten off to a good start. And just think: the Canes are on pace to win every game this year! Playoffs here we come!

But getting back down to Earth, my esteemed calleague Robert (or FR) is still in Memphis, no doubt frozen from the cold temps and the shock of his ECU Pirates' inability to kick a field goal. Regardless, we will be recording this week's episode of the SRP tomorrow evening, so check back here tomorrow night!

You only have to go through one day of work before you get to hear the best analysis, opinions, news, and Olympics pump-up for the Carolina Hurricanes and the entire NHL. Thanks for listening and we'll see you tomorrow!

Regular Season Week 13

Christmas has come and gone and thankfully, so has this awful week.

We revisit a week where the Canes stayed home for the holidays and only earned 1 point. That one point came in a game against Michael Leighton and Peter Laviolette. My how time changes things.

For Between the Boards we give our top 10 New Year's Resolutions of the Caniac Nation and then do a quick Olympic update.

We close previewing the upcoming week with games in Washington and a home and home with the New York Rangers.

The show is free! You have no excuse!

Regular Season Week 12

What a great week!

The Canes get 4 points in just three games with wins against Dallas and Florida! We look back at these two games as well as a loss against Florida in our week recap. We also call out the Canes for a very peculiar choice of videos played at the Florida game.

For Between the Boards we look at hockey outside of Raleigh with a look down in Albany and then also get an idea of what's going on with things internationally as the Olympics get closer and closer.

We close out with a preview of a week in Raleigh with visits by the NY Rangers, Montreal and the return of Coach Lavi and Micheal Leighton with Philly.

Merry Christmas! Enjoy your free download!

Regular Season Week 11

The streak of no road wins is over!

We look back at a week where we, well, ended that horrible road loss streak we had going! We also revisit a gutsy performance from Tim Gleason against Washington during a week that saw the debut of a new Hurricane and the return of an old favorite to the ice, Cam Ward.

For the Between the Boards we put our eye toward the future dissecting the roster and breaking the team into guys who will be traded all the way down to guys who have no chance of leaving Raleigh.

We close previewing a week against Dallas and then a good ole fashioned home and home to close out the week with Florida.

On another note, tune in all the way to the end. Robert sings. Huge fail.

Regular Season Week 10

We have a warrant for Alex Ovechkin.

A quick story here. We originally planned a long between the boards because we only had two games this week and what happens? The most information to cover for the entire season!

We review a crazy week with 2 games, the Corvo injury, the Ovechkin hit, the crazy roster moves, the trade and a coaching change.

Unreal!

We close out with a preview of the toughest week thus far with Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Washington and Ottawa all away from the RBC.

The download is $4,99 however we are offering a $4.99 discount this week.
