2010 Regular Season Week 23
4 points but still not ground made up..
Canes look good in all 3 games but only manage to win 2 games. We look back at the week that was recapping each game and even do some in depth analysis on Joni Pitkanen in the process.
For Between the Boards we each come up with some random hockey comments. And when I mean random, I mean we talk the greatest video game hockey player ever, compare the NHL to the NCAA and even discuss the current points system.
We close with a preview of a season defining week and a fact of the week regarding one record that Patrick Roy has you probably don't know about...

Wow what a bad week...
The Canes only get 1 point this week and have a game where the Canes go 0-9 on the power play. We see some interesting stuff this week including a questionable ending in a game, a call up, and a big injury.

We close with a preview of what we are calling the biggest week of the year and then a fact of the week dealing with goal differential.

2010 Regular Season Week 21
So we win twice but now are outside of the top 8? Huh?!?
The NHL Trade deadline comes and goes and the Canes were apart of it. See ya Sergei, hello Bryan Allen. With the new roster, the Canes get 4 points this week including the big 2 against Buffalo but fall out of the top 8 for the first time in weeks.
For Between the Boards we revisit a season goal list from the beginning of the season. We basically "check up" on this list to see where the Canes are and basically reflect on where we are based on where we needed to be.
We close with a week preview, a fact of the week and then some ACC tournament banter!
